About Annie...

After 21 years in the field of learning and development in the public, private and voluntary sectors operating at a strategic level, Annie Broadbent is now established as an independent consultant, co- founding Me, Actually in 2009. Annie specialises in the development of women, both individually and within organisations. With a range of skills and expertise across such diverse fields as mentoring and coaching, leadership, people and organisational development, change management and event management, Annie has a long held commitment to developing others. She is committed to a vision of equality which values the professional and personal contribution of women and men. In 2009 Annie organised the Senior Women in Policing national conference for 390 delegates in Exeter. Annie has chaired women’s network groups and is currently working with women’s networks across the South West. Annie is also a trustee for the Community Council of Devon and fund raiser for Open Arms, a charity based in Uganda. Annie is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development and sits as Vice Chair on the Devon and Cornwall Branch Committee. She is a practising coach and mentor and a registered psychometric test administrator with the Test Agency.

Annie is a published author, with a children’s book in print. She enjoys swimming and walking and is a very slow marathon runner.
